Amy Booth, Director of Health Services
Amy Booth, RN, BSN joined the team at The Glen in November of 2016. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Brenau University in 2006. She brings to our community a vast array of skills and experience from her position as a registered nurse in areas such as intensive care units, emergency medicine and home health care. Amy is certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and advanced stroke life support.
At the Glen, Amy will oversee all aspects of the clinical team comprised of licensed practical nurses, quality of life leaders and a quality life specialist. She collaborates closely with not only her clinical team, but also physicians, hospitals, and other health services to ensure that all health needs of each resident are met to the fullest extent possible. She is very intertwined with the local community, having lived here since 2007. She has a love for serving others and was called to be a nurse while on a mission trip with her church at that age of 12. Much of her spare time is spent with her dog, whom she rescued from a local Humane Society. She also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking and camping.
