Cheryl joins The Glen as the Move-In Coordinator and Community Relations Counselor. She brings with her two years’ experience at a senior living community where she served as the First Impression Concierge. She is especially gifted at listening and responding enthusiastically to resident’s inquiries and needs, developing close relations with seniors and their families and doing whatever she can do to solve problems. “I love working with seniors every day, hearing their stories and being so amazed by their accomplishments.”
Prior to working in the senior living environment, Cheryl worked 35 years in the legal field as a paralegal. She worked for a large firm in Detroit, Michigan and raised her family there. After retiring and moving to the south in 2010 she wanted to get back to work, but in a completely different field. “I wanted to be in a job that involved being with people all day. I found my dream job working with seniors.”
