Sidney Alexander, Director of Life Enrichment
Sidney joins The Glen family from a vast background in senior services. Sidney graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Georgia College, and her degree program began her volunteer work in senior day facilities, retirement communities, and hospice care. Sidney has held the title of Activities Coordinator at other retirement communities, where she partnered with the community to better the quality of life for her residents. She is also a member of the National Association of Activity Professionals. At The Glen, Sidney and her team will strive to ensure that residents are involved in all aspects of the community through activities focusing on their social, spiritual, emotional, physical, environmental, vocational, intellectual, and overall health needs. She will also partner with local schools, churches, pet therapy, and other social groups to encourage a well-rounded Life Enrichment department at The Glen.
In her spare time, Sidney enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She and her husband, Kevin, moved to the Lake Oconee area two years ago and have one son, Miles. They are very involved in their church and are looking forward to being more active in the community.
